You are God alone

This song came to mind tonight, as I was "wrestling". We sing it at church whenever I seem to be going through something I don't think I will survive. Of course I always do, survive that is. I think God knows I need to be reminded quite often that He is God alone. He is not like those that He created, He is just and fair. He is faithful. He is mighty. He cares about the details of my life. It matters to Him, when I am hurting. He will not strike me down for questioning Him. I am reminded of Lucy in the Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe when she asked if Aslan was "Safe". She was told, Safe? No. But He is GOOD. The wrath of God is a frightening thing, but the Love of God....there is comfort and peace in knowing that He loves me and that He gave up His Son for me, and that His Son willing died for me. He deserves nothing less than all my worship and praise!
