A week ago I wondered if Alice could be pregnant.

Today I know she is.

Her belly is HUGE.

The picture doesn't capture it very well.

Her belly makes her head look so little

and she waddles around the tank. Angelo helps her pick out bedding to carry into their igloo.

Little do they know this will be their last day together.

I will have to put him in his own tank

to keep her from feeling threatened,

and hopefully from eating her babies.
I guess that's "normal" for first time mom's in the mouse world.

If they feel threatened, afraid, can't take care of all their children,

they just eat them. Can you imagine? I'm just praying...

because I know God cares about these things...

that I won't have any partial mice babies to remove. Ugh!

Well, I'm off to prepare Angelo's new home.

Babies could be coming any time now.
