My friend Tricia gave me the scoop on the birds in our trees. She said they were called "Cedar Waxwings" and that they come in the Spring in mass...which explains why there were probably 200 birds in our trees! They came to eat the berries off the bushes and the ornamental plum and berries off our other trees. They are gone now but they were fascinating to watch. The doves are gone now too, couldn't get their nest to stay in the grape vine. I'm sad that I won't get to watch them but I'm glad they won't be left for me as a gift by one of our cats either!
I've had trouble blogging lately. One reason is that I have not had my camera. The battery died and the charger has disappeared. I finally took it over to my mom's to charge it w/hers. It's true that a picture paints 1,000 words. I have been w/o my camera and have had less to write because of it. I could go back to describing things myself but I've had so much more fun having the camera do it.
The other reason is more serious, more sensitive, more spiritual, much deeper....I have had a lot going on around me....not necessarily TO me but like the germ commercial, easy to transfer and contaminate. I have had some questions for GOD and "man" alike and have been troubled by things I've seen and heard. It has been hard to express....even still. If I am meant to write about it, I will. If not, hopefully I will have my peace back and be able to move on and get back to the more silly things of life!
Or Not.
