Yesterday was Naissa's Kindergarten Winter Program during school. Jim, Isaac and I went as well as my parents and Jim's mom. I was actually surprised that so many parents showed up at 9:30 in the morning. Anyway, it was cute, they sang several songs wearing these santa hats. Naissa's hat was apparently put on with her hair in her face and there her hair remained! Plus the kid behind her kept bumping her hat which would cause it to go up and cover her face completely....kinda funny but not cool when you're trying to take a picture!
My mom bought her this red dress.
Next week is Leesha, Jade and Zack's Winter programs, one Monday, one Tuesday and one Wednesday........of course! 4 kids in school = 4 different school programs.
Today Zack is having his oral surgery, 4 teeth pulled, baby teeth that refuse to make room for the permanent teeth that are trying to crowd their way through. He's most upset about not getting to eat for 8 hours beforehand.
I am so thankful, Jim is able to stay home this afternoon because both Naissa and Isaac have been throwing up like crazy. I don't think we have a clean towel in the house! I never would of guessed that anything "good" could come out of Jim losing his job, especially right after us buying our house. BUT he has been able to help out in ways he never could of if he had to go to work for someone else. We got to go on Naissa's field trip to Storyland together and we both took turns going on field trips with Zack's class. We walk Naissa to school and pick her up and have gotten to fix all kinds of things around the house. He does A/C service calls and little side jobs and is taking a class to get his contractor's license but we've gotten some great family time. Money has come in when needed, though usually at the very last minute, so I'm still working on the whole "trusting" God to provide thing....though He always does, just not always how I want.
Anyway, my kiddos could use some extra prayer today if you read this!

praying for healing as we speak. why is it always during the holidays that someone gets horribily ill. Katie lee gifford never had to deal with cassie and cody ralphing on her christmas special. martha stewart doesnt have a craft segment on designing a fashionable barf bucket. oh well. hang in there.
